Sill-Flow is an extruded, closed cell polyethylene foam wedge profile specifically designed for use in metal sill pan flashing assembly.

Sill-Flow provides a positive sloped substrate at sills of door and window openings.

Basic Uses:
To assist with the flow of water by providing a sloped substrate at sills of door and window openings when used in conjunction with waterproofing membrane and metal sill pan.

INSTALLATION:
Sill-Flow may be installed on the sills of the openings by using low-solvent construction adhesive or secured by screws or nails. When the window setting depth is >5" align the thick edge of Sill-Flow with the interior plane of the window frame. If the window setting depth is <5", align the thin edge of Sill-Flow with the exterior plane of the drainage plane.

Staple, tack or bond Sill-Flow in place. Travel tack aerosol adhesive may be used to bond in place. Sill-Flow pieces may be butted together in an installation as long as the cuts are straight.

Subsequently waterproofing sheet membrane and metal sill pan may be installed over Sill-Flow.

For window settings of 5" depth, Sill-Flow protruding beyond the interior plane of the window setting may be trimmed off with a sharp utility knife after installation of the metal sill pan.

LIMITATIONS:

  • Sill-Flow must be installed over a level framed sill.

  • Sill-Flow is not a substitution for metal sill pan.

  • This product is not to be considered as a waterproofing product, it does not have any waterproofing characteristics or capabilities.

  • Sill-Flow is not designed to correct framing errors.

  • Not recommended for permanent exterior exposure.
